Founders' Day

Since 2013, Perkasie Park has held a Founders' Day open house, drawing hundreds of visitors annually. Enjoyed by local residents, as well as tourists, the event is now held on the last Saturday of June each year from noon to 4pm. Visitors are invited to tour the Park's common buildings, museums, and a rotation of privately owned cottages.

The Perkasie Park Historical Foundation provides visitors with a program including a map of the grounds, showing the participating buildings on the self-guided tour.

The event is held rain or shine. The Park's overall terrain may be too challenging for those with mobility issues, but the Dining Hall provides some historical exhibits of interest and is easily accessible.

Historical Ghost Tour

Each year, on the last Friday and Saturday of September, PPHF volunteers provide guided historical ghost tours of Perkasie Park after dark. Re-enactors in period dress, recount the stories of the lives and deaths of people who died in and near the Park.

Tours are held rain or shine, and are not accessible for those with mobility issues, or children under 13. This event is ticketed and all proceeds benefit the Perkasie Park Historical Foundation and the preservation of Perkasie Park.

Tickets are available at the link on our homepage and Facebook. Buy your tickets early, as this event has sold out every year since it began in 2023.
